HCL Q3 profit up 5.5% to ₹4,591 cr; revenue rises 5%

IT services major HCLTech on Monday met Street expectations and posted a 5.5% increase in its consolidated net profit at ₹4,591 crore compared to ₹4,350 crore in the year-ago period, mainly driven by its broad-based performance across business verticals.
The company's revenue from operations stood at ₹29,890 crore for the quarter ending December 2024, a growth of 5.1% year-on-year (YoY) compared to ₹28,446 crore reported in the same quarter the previous year. The company's third-quarter EBIT (earnings before interest and taxes) margins came in at 19.5%.
The company has declared a fourth interim dividend of ₹18 per equity share for the current financial year (FY25). This includes a special dividend of ₹6 per share to celebrate 25 years of the company's public listing. For FY25, the company's revenue growth is expected to be between 4.5% and 5.0% YoY and EBIT margin to be between 18% and 19%.
