Apple experienced a sharp 19% year-over-year (YoY) decline in global smartwatch shipments in 2024, according to Counterpoint Research's Global Smartwatch Shipment Tracker, Q4 2024.

- Rakesh Kumar @New Delhi

This marks the second consecutive year of YoY shipment contraction for Apple's smartwatch business.

Notably, India was the only region where Apple recorded shipment growth, underscoring a broader global downturn led by a significant decline in the North American market—Apple's largest, accounting for more than half of its smartwatch shipments.
