TRADE NEGOTIATORS TO VISIT RUSSIA IN FEBRUARY

THE team of trade negotiators from India is likely to visit Russia for talks on the Russia Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) free trade agreement (FTA) in February after the Union Budget 2026, confirmed a source from the Ministry of Commerce, aware of the matter.
While Russia has relaxed some of the import requirements for the Indian exports, one of the major focus areas of the discussions will be around non-tariff barriers for Indian exports, said the source.
