Complains to chief secy, terms allegations false
IPS officer Roopa D Moudgil, who was accused of planting documents by her subordinate Vartika Katiyar at the latter's chambers, has been transferred.
Roopa, a 2000 batch IPS officer who was serving as Inspector General of Police (IGP) in the Internal Security Division (ISD), was transferred as Managing Director, Karnataka Silk Marketing Board Limited, Bengaluru, on Wednesday.
Vartika Katiyar, who was DIG (admin) in ISD, was transferred on Monday. She has been posted as DIG and Additional Commandant General, Home Guards, and ex-officio Additional Director, Civil Defence.
