MINISTER for Roads & Buildings (R&B) BC Janardhan Reddy on Friday released Krishna water into the Srisailam Right Bank Canal (SRBC) from the Banakacharla Complex under the 'Jalaharathi' programme.
The Minister, accompanied by Srisailam Budda Rajasekhar Reddy and Nandikotkur MLA Gitta Jayasurya, performed a traditional ritual by offering turmeric and vermilion to River Krishna before initiating the water release.
