West Asia crisis: Sensex falls 2.5%, investors lose ₹13.5L cr

DOMESTIC equity market crashed again on Monday as tensions in West Asia show no signs of deescalation.
The BSE Sensex fell 1,837 points, or 2.46%, to end at 72,696, while the NSE Nifty50 declined 602 points, or 2.6%, to 22,512. Notably, this marked the lowest closing level since April 2025.
