"The USCIRF is recognized as a biased organization with a political agenda. They persist in disseminating propaganda on India under the guise of an annual report," said Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal.
The MEA further asserted that USCIRF's endeavours to interfere in the world's largest electoral exercise, India's ongoing Lok Sabha elections, will not succeed. "We hold no expectation that USCIRF will endeavour to understand India's diverse, pluralistic, and democratic ethos," he added.
