Tap water connection reaches 74% of rural Andhra households: Data

AS many as 70,51,976 rural households in Andhra Pradesh now have access to tap water under the Jal Jeevan Mission - Har Ghar Jal programme.
According to official data, the state has a total 95,53,169 rural households, and current coverage stands at 73.82%.
When the programme was launched by the Centre in 2019, only 30,74,310 households (32.18%) in rural Andhra had access to tap water. As of now, 25,01,193 households (26.18%) still await connections.
