South states won't lose parliamentary seats due to delimitation: Amit Shah

UNION Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday assured the southern states that they will not lose even a "single parliamentary seat" due to delimitation and accused Chief Minister M K Stalin of spreading "misinformation" on the issue.
"No southern state, including Tamil Nadu, would see a reduction in parliamentary representation when delimitation is done on a pro rata basis," he said. "The CM and his son (Udhayanidhi) have taken up some issues to divert public attention. On what basis is he (Stalin) saying that Tamil Nadu would lose parliamentary seats due to the delimitation process," asked Shah.
