SC directs NTA to publish centre-wise NEET scores

THE Supreme Court on Thursday directed the National Testing Agency (NTA) to publish the marks obtained by students in the controversy-ridden NEET-UG 2024.
A bench headed by Chief Justice D Y Chandrachud said the centre- and citywise results should be declared by Saturday 12 noon so that the hearing on the matter can be concluded on Monday, the apex court said. The bench said it wanted to ascertain whether candidates appearing at allegedly tainted centres scored more marks than those elsewhere, adding the identities of candidates must be masked.
