Ruckus in Bihar House seeking withdrawal of Waqf Amendment Bill

The pre-lunch session of Bihar assembly was adjourned on Wednesday due to a ruckus created by the Opposition, which was demanding the withdrawal of the Waqf Amendment Bill.
Soon after the session got underway in the morning, Opposition members stormed into the well of the House demanding CM Nitish Kumar's stance on the matter. Despite repeated requests from Speaker Nand Kishor Yadav for the legislators to return to their seats, the members continued to disrupt the proceedings. The Speaker then adjourned the session until 2 pm for the lunch recess.
