Reliance Jio's call quality lowest, Airtel performs best: TRAI

The call quality of Reliance Jio, country's largest telecom service provider, was lowest and there was also higher percentage of unsuccessful call attempts on its network in Delhi compared to its competitors Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea, said the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) in a report, released on Friday, based on a test conducted by it.
As per the report, Jio has a lowest call setup success rate of 94.00%, which means higher percentage of failed call attempts. Both Airtel and VIL have a call setup success rate of 99.25%. When it comes to call drops, which refer to calls that are disconnected before completion, Jio performed poorly along with VIL. Airtel outperformed the others. While Airtel reported an exceptionally low call drop rate of 0.12%, Jio and VIL had higher rate of 0.23%, relatively low call drop rates overall. In Hyderabad too Jio has highest call
