'Promotion of feeding bottle brand by celebrity mothers violates law'

A PROMINENT infant care advocacy group has raised objections to celebrity mothers Neha Dhupia, Bipasha Basu, Diya Mirza and others for promoting a baby-feeding bottle brand, asserting that it violates the law.
The Breastfeeding Promotion Network of India (BPNI), a national coalition of organisations and individuals committed to promoting maternal and child health through the protection and promotion of breastfeeding, has written to Union health secretary Sudhansh Pant and women and child development secretary Indevar Pandey.
