Now, Punjab govt to construct 13,000 playgrounds to fight drug menace

PUNJAB CM Bhagwant Singh Mann on Sunday announced that construction of as many as 13,000 state-of-the-art stadiums across the state will commence shortly.
He added that work on 3,083 of these stadiums are already underway in the first phase, he added.
The initiative aims to steer the youth away from drugs by providing them with constructive outlets for their energy.
