No jobs in state, 3 from Assam took up nightclub duty

AMONG the 25 people who lost their lives in the Goa fire incident on Saturday, three were from Assam.

The three victims have been identified as Rahul Tanti, Manojit Mal (both from Cachar district) and Diganta Patir (from Dhemaji district) who were employed at the Arpora nightclub.

Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma took to social media platform X and said, “Deeply anguished by the tragic loss of lives in the Arpora fire incident, where three of our own lost their precious lives. Offering my heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. Praying for the recovery of those injured.”
