MUSK POSTPONES INDIA VISIT PLAN THIS WEEKEND

TESLA IS HOLDING TALKS WITH MULTIPLE STATE GOVERNMENTS FOR LOCATION OF ITS FACTORY
TESLA CEO Elon Musk postponed his much-anticipated visit to India where he was expected to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and announce Tesla's possible entry into the Indian market with a multibillion manufacturing facility.
Musk was supposed to arrive in India on Sunday.
"Unfortunately, very heavy Tesla obligations require that the visit to India be delayed, but I do very much look forward to visiting later this year," Musk said in a post on X on Saturday. According to reports, Musk has to be present at an important analyst call on April 23 in the United States to answer questions related to Tesla's first quarter (Jan-March) performance where the carmaker registered a steep decline in sales.
