Man kills ex-wife in broad daylight, injures partner

AMID concerns about the safety of women in Tamil Nadu, a 42-year-old man was arrested for murdering his estranged wife in full public view at a bus stand at Medavakkam Koot road late Saturday evening.

After slashing the woman with a knife, he also allegedly knifed her partner who was with her at the time. The woman was declared dead at the hospital, while the injured man is still under treatment.

Inflows into SIPs up 4% to ₹30,422 cr in Sept; gold ETFs see 282% surge
