Land-for-jobs case: Court grants bail to Rabri, daughters

"It is the apparent scenario that the accused persons were not arrested consciously by the investigating agency. Hence, there is no reason for the court to employ any further stringent standard to speculate whether the accused persons are likely to flee from trial or influence witnesses if they are admitted to regular bail," Special Judge Vishal Gogne said in the order.

There is absolutely no historical evidence that a man called Chanakya ever lived during Mauryan times (300 BC) or that he guided Chandragupta Maurya to kingship. What we have is a story based on later Buddhist and Jain chronicles and Sanskrit plays like Mudra-rakshasa, all imagined after 500 AD, i.e, 700 years later.
