Intensify measures to prevent dengue and malaria, says Nadda

UNION Health Minister JP Nadda on Thursday issued an advisory to chief ministers of all states, including Delhi, to remain vigilant in the coming months and intensify preventive measures for effective control of dengue and malaria.
The advisory followed a review meeting on the current situation of the two vector-borne diseases, aimed at galvanising preventive activities being undertaken by the states. Nadda also instructed that a high-level review meeting be held specifically for Delhi and the NCR to closely assess the dengue situation and ensure advance preparedness.
