Urges entrepreneurs to design business models that strengthen Atmanirbhar Bharat & hails UP as investment hub

GST reforms a landmark in growth story: PM

PM Narendra Modi on Thursday inaugurated the third edition of the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS) at the India Expo Centre and Mart in Greater Noida.

Describing the recently implemented 'Next Generation GST reforms' as a landmark in the nation's economic journey, the Prime Minister said, "The reform has not only provided major relief to consumers but has also energised trade and industry. The GST reforms are putting monthly savings directly into the pockets of common families and these savings will further strengthen India's growth story." The Prime Minister called upon investors and entrepreneurs to explore immense opportunities in Uttar Pradesh, saying the state under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was scaling newer heights of development. "UP has now emerged as a vibrant hub of investment and progress," he said, adding that the state's rapid growth would be the foundation of a self-reliant India.
