GHM notices to 2 studios for not paying licence fees

THE Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has issued show cause notices to two reputed Tollywood studios, Annapurna Studio and Ramanaidu Studio after they defaulted on the payment of their trade licence fees.
According to GHMC officials, the two studios utilise lakhs of sq ft of commercial space, yet do not even pay a fraction of what they should ideally be paying. Two major film studios in Hyderabad have declared only small portions of their built-up areas for trade licences, according to senior GHMC officials.
