Amid Trump tariffs and ahead of festivals, Modi reiterates 'swadeshi' call

PRIME Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday reiterated his call for use of indigenous products and urged people to take pride in "Swadeshi" (Made in India) products as the festive season approaches.
His "vocal for local" call as the path to an "aatmanirbhar Bharat" comes amid the ongoing tariff dispute with the US.
The PM was addressing the people during his monthly radio broadcast "Mann Ki Baat".
Calling upon the public to embrace Swadeshi, he encouraged the use of indigenous products during upcoming festivals like Diwali and others.
