AI Cancels 13 Dreamliner Flights in a Day: DGCA

Troubled airliner Air India cancelled as many as 13 of its Dreamliner flights on Tuesday due to various reasons, aviation regulator DGCA said.
The highest number of cancellations in a day was 14 on Sunday. In all, Air India cancelled 66 B787 Dreamliner flights since the horrific June 12 air crash that killed 241 on board.
The DGCA also said that the recent enhanced surveillance on Air India's Boeing 787 fleet did not reveal any major safety concerns, adding maintenance systems were found to be compliant with existing safety standards.
