Eventidor keeps Bo on a high

THE seven-year-old Eventidor will sit well in Bo Ngcobo's memory as the gelding scored the ninth win of his career when winning the C Stakes over 1600m on the poly at Hollywoodbets Greyville yesterday.
Eventidor is a horse that seems to grow an extra leg on the synthetic surface, his last four wins coming on the poly including his last start. Friendless in the market last time out, he turned in a game effort to hold off the lightly weighted Rodriquez.
Ngcobo
He was given a four-point rise in the handicap for that win but Ngcobo countered that with 4kg claimer Dezahn Louw who gave his mount a copybook ride, tracking the pace and quickening when it mattered. Disappointments where favourite Green Glow and Spaarne Rivier, both coming under pressure early and not going on with their efforts.
