A man who kills and eats peacocks

NOW here’ a weird one. A man on Florida’s Gulf Coast has been charged with animal cruelty after the authorities said he killed, cooked, and ate two of his pet peacocks, according to the Associated Press.

The unnamed 61-year-old from Hudson, Florida, was arrested last week on a third-degree felony charge of aggravated animal cruelty, according to an affidavit from the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office.
The man told investigators he killed the two peacocks because his neighbour kept feeding them.
