It's Glasto month! But will you go boho, Burberry or full Kate Moss? Here’s our field report on the looks of the season. By Maddy Mussen
Bash those wellies together and dig out your bent tent pegs, because festival season is under way and we're prepping hard. Glastonbury, the mother of all festivals, opens in three weeks' time, which means the celebrities and stylists are already way ahead of you.
We're taking notes from Burberry’s hot new campaign, which is as star-studded as Kate Moss's 2005 Glastonbury Rocks belt. Set in the muddy fields of a rural wonderland, it features Goldie, Cara Delevingne, Alexa Chung, Seungmin, Loyle Carner, Chy Cartier, John Glacier plus Liam Gallagher and his children — Lennon, Gene and Molly Moorish — in various states of festival enjoyment.
Chung is a diamond in the mud, clad in pink sequins and Burberry wellies, while Carner disguises his fame behind a high-neck collar. Liam Gallagher is backstage beside a Winnebago (this surely isn’t going to help those Glastonbury rumours) while his offspring are dotted among the tents and revellers. But what should you wear to a festival, now we're in the post-flower crown era? Whether it’s one day only or a full weekend in the forest, we break down some of the major trends for 2025, plus who to put on your moodboard.
