Grieving star thanks fans
Oscar-winning actor Tommy Lee Jones has thanked fans for their prayers after his daughter was found dead from a suspected drug overdose at a hotel in San Francisco. Victoria Jones, 34, was discovered unresponsive at the Fairmont hotel shortly before 3am on New Year's Day. Victoria is reported to have battled substance abuse.

Hammer attack on Vance home
A man has been arrested after an intruder with a hammer tried to break into JD Vance’s home. William DeFoor, 26, was charged with criminal damage, trespass and vandalism after the break-in at the vice-president’s residence in Cincinnati, Ohio. Vance and his family were at their main residence in Washington, DC, at the time of the attack.
