Youngsters given a festive surprise at the RVI Children’s wards

CHILDREN in Newcastle's RVI Children’s wards were brought some festive magic courtesy of Newcastle Magic Circle with a surprise visit from the most important of visitors - Santa Claus himself.

‘The society raised a wonderful £1,000 in fundraising at their annual president's dinner and transformed that into a range of gifts for the children including magic sets, toys, bunnies, magic books and even a PlayStation 5.

James Piatt, president of the Newcastle Magic Circle, said: “We raised an amazing amount which we've been able to donate to the Great North Children’s hospital this year. We're really proud of that.”
