DISNEYLAND Paris has finally announced the grand opening of its eagerly awaited World of Frozen land, and we got an exclusive first look inside Arendelle.
MEET & GREET: Anna and Elsa, above, and inside the Regal View Restaurant, right
From March 29, Disney fans will have the opportunity to explore Anna and Elsa's homeland, with a variety of experiences on offer including a brand new ride, character meet and greets, fresh shows and exclusive food and drink options.
I was fortunate enough to be among the first to get a sneak preview in the Walt Disney Studios Park (set to undergo a rebrand to Disney Adventure World when the Frozen land opens). And it’s evident Frozen devotees won't be let down.
As you approach the area, the massive snowy North Mountain comes into view, with Elsa’s ice palace in the distance, Nordic-inspired buildings that are sure to be a hit on Instagram, and charming fountains adorned with icicles - because, well, it’s Frozen.
I also noticed some — mouse-shaped details for those who enjoy hunting for hidden Mickeys in the park.
As for the character meet and greets? There's an Olaf animatronic who you'll be able to spot with the princesses - he’s adorable and kids are undoubtedly going to love him.
It’s very impressive - he waddles around, talks and waves, and had everyone cheering as he wandered about joined by Anna and Elsa.
The Olaf animatronic is a world first, and really brings the character to life.
If you want to meet Anna and Elsa, you'll need to book a slot at the Arendelle castle - the perk being that you can then enjoy the rest of the park rather than waiting around for hours.
