Three arrests made after death of man

THREE people have been arrested after a man died in Newcastle city centre as police investigate the circumstances surrounding his death.

Paramedics were called to Eldon Lane, just off Blackett Street, shortly before midday on Thursday over concern for the welfare of a man in his 40s.
