Thief caught shoplifting chocolate at Fenwick

A SERIAL thief’s solicitor said he was “on the naughty, not nice, list” in his bid to get housing over Christmas after he was caught shoplifting yet again.

Garry Miller has 143 offences on his appalling record and only got out of prison in October, yet he decided to help himself to festive chocolate from Fenwick.
A court heard that the 31-year-old made off with £51-worth of confectionery from the store in Newcastle city centre.
Because of his record, the prolific crook was arrested and kept in custody to appear before magistrates the following day.
