'Self-serve chaos' plan for new city venue

BOUTIQUE bowling company Lane7 has teased details of its newest venue which it says will deliver 'self-serve chaos' in the city centre.
The fast-growing group, which launched in Newcastle in 2011, revealed last year how it was planning to open another two sites in the city centre, starting with a second Lane7 at The Gate, at the former nightclub and bar The Lofts and The Hustle.
Plans then emerged for a subterranean gaming centre in the former Sports Direct store at Monument Mall, a prime Northumberland Street building which is also being transformed to become the new home for Lloyds Bank.
