Production company given £75k funds boost

A GATESHEAD production company has secured a £75,000 package to support the next stage of its growth.

Motif Pictures has won backing from the North East Culture and Creative Investment Programme. The loan will support the company's shift towards direct-to-audience platforms, responding to changes in commissioning and audience behaviour, including the launch of Left Field a new YouTube channel that will showcase original interview formats, sports documentaries and short-form content.
