Police seize ten e-bikes in one day

POLICE officers in Sunderland seized 10 electric bikes in one day last week. Northumbria Police also seized a motorized scooter in the High Street West area of the city during a day of action.

Neighbourhood Policing Team Op Capio carried out the seizures as part of antisocial behaviour awareness week, and were joined by the force's cadets who patrol the city centre.
