Mags 'make contact' in race for defender

NEWCASTLE United and some of Europe's top clubs are on a transfer red alert after summer target Dean Huijsen confirmed he has a release clause in his Bournemouth contact.
The 19-year-old defender has been hugely impressive in his first season in the Premier League after signing from Italian giants Juventus last summer.
He won his first caps for Spain last month, and his form has attracted the attention of the likes of Newcastle, Liverpool and Real Madrid.
United are looking for a long-term partner for Sven Botman in the heart of their defence, although experienced defender Fabian Schar signed a one-year contract extension last week.
