Gayle's secret shopping mission for Cruise's film
The Journal
|April 24, 2025
A NORTHUMBERLAND shop-keeper has supplied handbags and jewellery for the latest Mission: Impossible film.

Gayle Foster, who has Vintage at the Tower in Corbridge since 2013, supplied a range of handbags and crystal costume jewellery pieces for the upcoming Tom Cruise flick. Last year, its costume buyer chose a selection of pieces to be featured in a party scene filmed at the Natural History Museum in London.
Gayle has since been shortlisted for Small Business Britain's High Street Hero, with an awards ceremony to take place in London the same week the eighth Mission: Impossible film is released. As well as running Vintage at the Tower, Gayle is chairperson of Visit Corbridge, a community association which supports local businesses and aims to raise the profile of the Tyne Valley town.
