BURNMOOR continued to set the pace at the top of the Premier Division with an emphatic 145-run victory at Sunderland.
Visitors Burnmoor scored quickly and heavily at Ashbrooke, as Ross Greenwell (41), Allan Worthy (45no), Mitchell Killeen (58), and a rapid 93 from Ryan Pringle off just 40 balls, gave them a total score of 311-5 declared from just 38 overs.
The hosts then had Josh Coughlin to deal with, as he claimed 3-6.
Hashmatullah Hemat then scored 41 and Michael Nunn 31, but Sunderland were eventually bowled out for 166 in the 67th over, with Sean Tindale taking 4-40.
Second-placed Chester-le-Street also won on Saturday, claiming 30 points from their four-wicket win at Hetton Lyons.
