Delight for Dickens as Red Bulls are up for the Cup at Saints

HEAD coach Alan Dickens declared himself a happy man after watching his Newcastle Red Bulls side battle back for a 31-14 victory at Northampton Saints on Saturday.

Trailing 14-5 at the midway stage of the PREM Rugby Cup encounter at his former club, Dickens told newcastleredbulls.com: “It's a monkey off our back in some ways, but more than anything I'm just pleased for the lads.
“They showed a lot of character to dig in and come back the way they did, having trailed 14-5 at halftime despite dominating the territory and possession.
