Council says sorry after 6,500 bins not emptied

GATESHEAD Council has apologised for its “disappointing” bin collections last week, leaving 6,500 bins unemptied on their scheduled days.
-
Areas including Beacon Lough, Eighton Banks, Harlow Green, Low Fell, Sheriff Hill, Shipcote, Windy Nook, Wrekenton and Bensham were affected.
