A “TRANSFORMED” clinic at a Newcastle hospital's famous children’s heart unit will “make a real difference” to children and their carers.

‘That's the message from two charities who have helped to refurbish a busy space at the Freeman Hospital.

Clinic E at the Children’s Heart Unit has become a “brighter and more calming space” after collaboration between Chuf - the Children’s Heart Unit Fund charity - and the Newcastle Hospitals Charity.

‘The clinic has new artwork on the walls and colourful child-friendly features.
