The Journal
|January 12, 2026
A POPULAR Northumberland B&B which has appeared on TV is up for sale with a six-figure price tag.
The Sun Inn, based in the village of Acomb near Hexham, has come on the market and property agents expect to see strong interest for the business, which is based close to Hadrian's Wall, Hexham Abbey, and numerous walking routes.
Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co, has been instructed to sell the property with an asking price of £425,000, with marketing details highlighting how the detached freehold pub, on Main Street in the picturesque village, has a traditional bar and lounge with seating for up to 34 people, and a small breakfast area that seats up to 12.
