£490k to get residents better access to nature

SUNDERLAND is set to receive a cash investment of £490,000 to be used to better connect residents with local green spaces.
-
It is one of 40 towns and cities across the UK to receive a share of a first-of-its-kind £15m National Lottery Heritage Fund pot.
Nature Towns and Cities, in partnership with Natural England and the National Trust, aims to help people in at least 100 places across the UK to enjoy nature and green spaces within 15 minutes of their homes.
