Walking is particularly beneficial for cardiovascular health. Studies have shown that a brisk 30-minute walk each day can significantly reduce the risk of heart disease, stroke, and high blood pressure. When you walk, your heart rate increases, promoting better blood circulation and strengthening the heart muscle. Over time, regular walking helps to lower LDL (bad cholesterol) and increase HDL (good cholesterol), reducing the chances of heart-related complications.
