Profit-takings derail bourse's bullish run but investor optimism prevails

CSE trading was extremely bullish at first but later indicated mixed reactions due to profittakings during the latter part of the session.

However, the investors are optimistic about satisfactory quarterly corporate results, which so far indicate good profits in many companies.

The All Share Price Index went up by 59.88 points, while the S and P SL20 declined by 7.32 points. Turnover stood at Rs 9.2 billion with 13 crossings.
