SALLY Wainwright's new project has finally burst onto our screens, with fans of the screenwriter exciting to see what it offers up.

Riot Women - like Wainwright's previous shows Happy Valley and Last Tango in Halifax - is already a fan favourite, and even though BBC One is showing an episode a week, many have taken it to heart and have already raced through the full series on iPlayer.

Like its counterparts, Riot Women features recognisable locations to those lucky enough to live in our region. Most of it was filmed in Todmorden and Hebden Bridge.
