HUDDERSFIELD'S Our Cultural Heart is making strides as a West Yorkshire-based company has been appointed to carry out specialist works.

The shape of Huddersfield is changing, with work well underway on the first phase of the council’s mammoth regeneration project that is gradually transforming the Piazza area of town.
Phase one, which has seen the partial demolition of Queensgate Market, includes a new library, food hall and public square and is set to be up and running by summer 2026.
As construction continues to progress, Henley Stone Specialists - part of the Henley Construction Management Group - has been appointed to deliver the Glass Reinforced Concrete (GRC) elements for this part of the scheme.
They will be working closely with BAM Construction which is leading the development of phase one.
