HUDDERSFIELD Town boss Lee Grant has confirmed a 'real big blow' on the injury front with Will Alves set for a spell on the sidelines due to a foot injury.

The Leicester City loanee made his first start for the Terriers in Saturday's 0-0 draw at home to Burton Albion, but was not included in the squad for Wednesday's Carabao Cup defeat to Manchester City.

Revealing the 20-year-old's setback at a press conference on Thursday, Grant said: "We are going to be without Will Alves for months rather than weeks, which is really disappointing, it's a real big blow.
