Robinson emerges as new candidate for Argyle vacancy

PLYMOUTH Argyle are believed to have drawn up a four-man shortlist to replace Miron Muslic, following his departure to Schalke last week, with St Mirren's Stephen Robinson understood to be on that list.
The 50-year-old Northern Irishman has done a good job in charge of Scottish Premier League side St Mirren, who he joined after spells in charge of Oldham Athletic, Motherwell and Morecambe. The former Bournemouth, Preston North End and Luton Town midfielder started his coaching career at Motherwell as assistant to Ian Baraclough, whilst also assisting Northern Ireland head coach Michael O'Neil as the Green Army qualified for the 2016 European Championships. He was then appointed manager of Oldham in July 2016, but lasted only six months before he was sacked and replaced by former Argyle boss John Sheridan. Robinson returned north of the border - and back to Motherwell - in Feb-
