THE rivers of greenish-blue light and the golden glow of the Northern Lights might be common over the Arctic, Canada and northern Scandinavia, but one family has captured them over Dartmoor.

Joe Cartwright and his family were getting ready for bed when they were alerted to a possible sighting of an aurora, and set off for Combestone Tor, near Hexworthy, with their cameras.
