NEW SHOWROOM AND CAFE A DRAW FOR MOTORCYCLE FANS

Macpherson Motorcycles this month opened its new showroom and cafe in the former Harley-Davidson and Triumph showrooms at Langage, Plympton.

The two buildings, vacated when companies running major Plymouth and Exeter motorcycle dealerships collapsed into administration last year, have been kitted out into attractive spaces which are proving to be a huge draw for bikers and non-bikers alike.

The cafe is spacious and furnished with tables, chairs and comfy sofas - with some strategically placed motorcycles too.

The showroom has all the upmarket style associated with Macpherson Motorcycles’ former showroom in the 19th Century, Grade II listed AE Monsen Ship Stores building, at the Barbican, are now available to be re-let to other businesses.

The business has now closed that space, and its workshop and cafe at Cattedown, having shifted everything to the Eagle Road site.
